We are happy to announce OpenELEC runs on the nextgen CedarTrail + Nvidia GT520M plattforms.

For those that don’t follow hardware developments closely the "Intel CedarTrail + Nvidia GT520M" will essentially replace the ION2 platform we have come to love. This should be a perfect next step in hardware for HTPC enthusiasts and as seen already boxes are being announced for this platform.

Team OpenELEC is proud to announce, in collaboration with our partner Zotac that OpenELEC is ALREADY optimized for the upc coming Zotac ID80 hardware.

Hi all, excited to be joining the community.

I take delivery of a Zotac ID80 today and I want to put the latest and greatest OpenElec on there right away.

For the new pairing of Atom and Nvidia 520, is the ION build the best one to use?

    Thanks!

just had a chance to play with it and builds november+ are working fine. it's nice upgrade comparing to ion2 platform, but costs a 100 euro more.

cienislaw: It's been supported for a long time, so development builds works fine. I don't have a device, so I cant say for sure if 1.0.2 works. But v2 should be right around the corner.

    Nice!
Though I'd love to see Zotac getting rid of a wi-fi card and put a nice minipci-e tv-tuner :P
    Dont see it happening though...
