Supported Hardware
This is list of hardware that is known to work with OpenELEC. However, this is not an exhaustive list of working components/systems so if an item isn't listed here, that doesn't mean it won't work. If you have hardware that you know works (or doesn't work) with OpenELEC that isn't listed below, please tell us on the forum section.
Motherboards
Most motherboards work with OpenELEC and support is being added for new models all the time.
Network Cards
To get the most from your OpenELEC system it needs to be connected to a network and preferably the Internet. Make sure you've got a supported card.
Remote Controls
Use a remote control to use your OpenELEC system - it's much easier than using a keyboard and mouse!
Systems
Many pre-built hardware systems are fully supported by OpenELEC. If you're looking at buying a new system or re-building an old one with OpenELEC check to see if it's supported here.
TV Tuners
TV cards are supported through the tvheadend server built into OpenELEC. Select a supported tuner to watch TV on your OpenELEC system.
